The Watch Hill Group Campground can accommodate a bona fide group of up to 40 people. Picnic tables and grills are provided. A minimum 2-night stay is required.

Camping
At Fire Island National Seashore, you may (and should) make advance reservations through the park's concessioner, Fire Island Concessions, LLC, for camping at the . Applications are accepted for the current year by mail after January 1.

Boating
A portion of the slips at may be secured before your arrival.
- Limited Watch Hill Marina individual reservations are accepted by phone at 631-597-3109 on the day of arrival, after 8:30 a.m. daily during the summer (June 26 - September 6, 2008) and after 11 a.m. weekdays and 8:30 a.m. on weekends during the shoulder season (May 9 - June 25 and September 7 - October 31, 2008).
No more than 1/2 of the Watch Hill marina slips may be reserved each day.

- Watch Hill Marina Group Reservations may be made for groups of 20 or more vessels during the should season dates in May, June, September and October, except for holiday weekends and weekends before or after a holiday. Requests may be made by phone at 631-597-3109 or by e-mail.

- There is no reservation policy for the Sailors Haven Marina at this time.
All slips are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Any special events or activities that take place concurrent with a group's reservations for overnight accommodations must be officially permitted by the National Park Service. Plan to apply for a Special Use Permit at least 2 weeks in advance. Application fees and insurance requirements accompany these permits.
