Ranger with students in Everglades NP

Explore, Explore, Explore!

There are many opportunities to explore the Everglades on your own or incorporate a stop at one of the four visitor centers located in different areas of the park.

The visitor centers of the park are open every day year round and have park rangers available to help you plan your visit.

There are also other areas of the park you may want to visit that do not have visitor centers but offer great opportunities to hike, picnic and bike.

All visitor centers provide maps and brochures to help you prepare for some wonderful adventures in exploring Everglades National Park!

The Chekika Entrance has no visitor center, but offers seasonal picnicking and short hikes.
