Hours of Operation

Laboratory Complex

  • Open Wednesday through Sunday.
  • Hours are 9:00am - 5:00pm.
  • Group Reservations required. Contact the Group Coordinator

Glenmont Estate

  • Open Friday through Sunday.
  • Grounds are open 11:30am - 5:00pm.
  • Tickets for the house tour are limited and distributed on a first-come first-served basis from the Laboratory Visitor Center 
  • Tours are offered between 12:00pm and 4:00pm 
  • A pass must be obtained at the Laboratory Complex Visitor Center in order to enter Llewellyn Park where Glenmont is located

Did You Know?
Thomas Edison National Historical Park has one of the most traveled buildings in the Park Service. Building #11 was shipped to the Henry Ford museum in Dearborn, MI in 1940 at the request of Henry Ford. No longer needed, it was shipped back to the park in 2003. - In all, it traveled 1200 miles.
