The Sequoia Natural History Association (SNHA) is a non-profit membership organization dedicated to supporting education, interpretation, research, and the natural and historic preservation of Devils Postpile, Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks,  and Lake Kaweah. SNHA is committed to enriching the experiences of visitors and promoting awareness of the significance of national pakrs through educational programs, publications, and financial support.

 

There are several ways to help through the Sequoia Natural History Association (SNHA):

  • Become a member of SNHA.
  • Make a donation.
  • Make purchases at park and monument bookstores. These can be found at the Devils Postpile Ranger Station and in various locations throughout Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks and online.

Did You Know?
The area now known as Devils Postpile National Monument used to be part of Yosemite National Park. In 1905, the Devils Postpile formation, Rainbow Falls, and the Minarets were removed from Yosemite's boundaries due to pressure from mining interests.
