CLASSROOM VISITS

Rangers may be available to visit your classroom throughout the school year. Rangers can provide a variety of educational programs covering basic earth science, geology, wildlife, and others. Please call us at 760-934-2289 or you can send us an e-mail to discuss your classroom's individual program needs.

In the winter, the monument provides a gateway to High Sierra back country skiing.

Did You Know?
Winters in Devils Postpile can be rough! The monument receives over 400 inches of snow each year thanks to our unique location in the Sierra Nevada. This provides great recreational opportunities for experienced backcountry skiers.
