Every Day is Junior Ranger Day!
If you are between the ages of 6 and 12, come to our Wright-Dunbar Interpretive Center to pick up your Junior Ranger booklet! Learn what it takes to be a Junior Ranger as you experience, explore, and protect our National Park. Special certificates and badges will be awarded to junior rangers who complete the handbook. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Did You Know?
The Pitcher's Thistle is an endangered plant species that is native to the dunes around the Great Lakes. You will find many of them as you hike through the dunes or along the Lake Michigan shores at Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore.
