Constitution Gardens has no fees or reservations associated with a visit. However for planned events dependent upon the activity and number of participants a permit may be required. Please refer to the permits section to find out more information.

Battleground National Cemetery is aptly named. The cemetery grounds were part of the battlefield when Confederate troops under the command of Gen. Jubal Early attacked Washington, D.C. on July 11 – 12, 1864.
