Operating Hours & Seasons

The Memorial's Visitor Center and Los Paisanos Gallery are open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Park Grounds are open daily from 5:00 am to 10:00 pm.

The Memorial is closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

Did You Know?
Chamizal National Memorial is named after a plant. Chamizal means "land where the chamiso grows". The Spanish word "chamiso" is the common name for four-wing salt bush (atriplex canescens).
