Visitors can explore exhibits about César E. Chávez, his life’s work, and the farm worker movement. The visitor center includes Chávez’s preserved office, a gallery, museum spaces, and a bookstore.

From Los Angeles:

  1. Take I-5 North towards Sacramento.
  2. Exit onto State Route 14 North toward Palmdale/Lancaster.
  3. Merge onto CA-14 North.
  4. Continue onto CA-58 BUS West.
  5. Turn left to merge onto CA-58 West.
  6. Take exit 139 toward Keene.
  7. Turn right toward Woodford-Tehachapi Road.
  8. Turn right at Woodford-Tehachapi Road.
    The monument will be on your left.

From Bakersfield:

  1. Take CA-58 West (Barstow-Bakersfield Hwy / Blue Star Memorial Hwy).
  2. Take exit 139 toward Keene.
  3. From the highway ramp, turn left to pass under the highway.
  4. Turn right onto Woodford-Tehachapi Road.
    The monument will be on your left, just under a mile away.

From Cities to the East:

  1. Take CA-58 West.
  2. Pass through the town of Tehachapi.
  3. About 11 miles beyond Tehachapi, take exit 139 toward Keene.
  4. From the highway ramp, turn right onto Woodford-Tehachapi Road.
    The monument will be on your left, just under a mile away.
