Cedar Breaks National Monument - Summer Activities (U.S. National Park Service)

Cedar Breaks offers three trails ranging from short "leg-stretchers" walks to moderate or difficult walks.

Join a Park Ranger to learn more about Cedar Breaks National Monument. Topics include geology, animals, plants, human history, and more. Programs include guided hikes, daytime talks, and evening programs at Point Supreme Campground. All programs are free. Check with the Visitor Center for times, places, and subjects.

Junior Ranger Program

During your visit, make sure to stop by the Visitor Center to pick up your Junior Ranger program. Once completed, see a Ranger to receive your badge!

Star Parties

To celebrate and share the beauty of our dark night skies, Cedar Breaks throws a series of monthly "Star Parties." Star parties include a special evening program in the Point Supreme Campground followed by star viewing through several large telescopes at the Point Supreme Overlook. Visitors with their own telescopes are invited to bring them along.
