Entrance Fees
 

2009 CLOSING IS OCTOBER 12
Fees will NOT be collected after that date. ALL facilities will be closed. Rte. 148 (Cedar Breaks Scenic Drive) will remain open until impassable due to snow accumulation and drifting.

During the winter season (generally mid-October to late-May, call ahead 435-586-0787) no fees will be collected.

 

Cedar Breaks Individual Fee
$4 Per Person (Valid for 7 Days) 
This fee is for all visitors, age 16 or older, entering the park with a private, non-commercial vehicle.  Children age 15 and under are free, and entrance fees are not charged to holders of a valid Interagency America the Beautiful Pass, Senior Passes, Access Passes, Cedar Breaks Annual Passes, Golden Age Passports, or Golden Access Passports. Commercial Tours Fee
$25, $40, $100 (Valid for 7 Days)

This fee is for vehicles associated with commercial tour groups.  These vehicles are charged a per vehicle rate which is based on the seating capacity of the vehicle, regardless of the number of persons that are in the vehicle. The commercial fee rates are as follows:

  • Commercial Sedans are vehicles with a seating capacity of six or less and are charged a flat rate of $25.00 per entry, plus the individual entry fee of $4.00 per passenger.
  • Commercial Vans and Commercial Mini-buses are vehicles with a seating capacity of 7 to 25 and are charged a flat rate of $40.00 per entry.
  • Commercial Buses are motor coaches with a seating capacity of 26 or more and are charged a flat rate of $100.00 per entry.

Special Events, Non-Commercial Groups, Fundraisers

Please call ahead (Cedar City Office 435-586-9451) for information. National Park Service units require special authorization to hold an event inside and/or traveling through boundaries. (36 CFR § 71.10(a)) Sometimes these events require extra fees in addition to regular entrance fees. (36 CFR § 71.10(b))

Bristlecone Pine  

Did You Know?
The oldest tree at Cedar Breaks National Monument is the Bristlecone Pine. It dates back to 1,600 years old. You can view this tree on the Spectra Point Trail.
