There are currently no fees to enter Oakland Plantation or the grounds of Magnolia Plantation.

The main house at Magnolia Plantation is privately owned, but tours may be available. Contact the Natchitoches Area Convention and Visitors Bureau at (318) 352-6398 for more information.

No pass is needed for entrance to Cane River Creole National Historical Park.
Although entrance to the park sites of Oakland and Magnolia Plantations is free, travelers may wish to purchase an America the Beautiful - National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass.

Did You Know?
The proficiency of enslaved blacksmiths such as Solomon Williams can be seen in iron latches and hinges, in numerous grave crosses from the cemetery, and in a collection of skillfully made well-drilling tools found on Oakland Plantation.
