The park and campgrounds are open year round. The Visitor Center is open daily (except for some major holidays) from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with extended hours during the summer season.

Ripple Rock Nature Center is open from Memorial Day through June 30, 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m.; then open 10:00 am to 3:00 pm from July 1 through Labor Day weekend Tuesday through Saturday, closed Sundays and Mondays.

Did You Know?
Capitol Reef National Park has the largest historic orchards in the National Park System, with approximately 2,600 fruit and nut trees. You can pick fruit in quantity in orchards that are officially open for public harvest for a modest charge.
