Special Use Permits -- This permit is needed for a variety of activities, such as organizing a wedding in the park or taking professional photographs. The permit fee is $50.00. Please contact the park for more details about obtaining a permit at [phone].

Reservations

School Groups
Reservations for school tours should be made as far in advance as possible, especially for the most popular school tour seasons, mid-March through mid-June and September through October. To reserve a curriculum-based education program, contact a park ranger at [phone].

Group Tours
Groups of five or more can reserve a tour by contacting a ranger at [phone].

TOUR TIME INFO

Historic Area:

· The Visitor Center has a 15 minute introductory video, a display/museum area and a Eastern National Book Store.

· The Historic Area takes an average of 30 minutes to an hour to walk and explore the reconstructed buildings and landscape.

× A guided tour or a short orientation is available upon request dependent on staff availability. Larger groups are asked to call in advance to schedule a guided tour at: [phone]. Guided tours last 45 minutes to an hour. Tours are free.

Jack-O-Lantern Branch Heritage Trail:

· This nature trail follows Gills Creek, which runs throught a wooded area, and is approximately 1 ½ miles.
