This includes Boston! Connect with your heritage and immerse yourself in nature by getting a EKO pass. Visit www.everykidoutdoors.gov to learn more about how to obtain and use your pass. Children and their families can use this pass for free admission to national parks and other federal public lands and waters across the country for the school year. The website also includes trip planning help, as well as fun and engaging learning activities aligned with education standards and information for educators and parents. FAQs for Every Kid Outdoors in BostonNo! To walk the Black Heritage Trail and the historic neighborhood of Beacon Hill, a pass is not required. To learn about using the Every Kid Outdoors pass at sites along the Freedom Trail, check out Boston National Historical Park’s Every Kid Outdoors webpage. The EKO pass cannot be used at Trails to Freedom Partner sites, which includes the Museum of African American History. This historic site and others require admission fees. Bring your printed paper voucher from everykidoutdoors.gov to the Faneuil Hall Visitor Center Desk. You can exchange the voucher for an official Every Kid Outdoors pass. Along the Freedom Trail, you may also bring your voucher to the Charlestown Navy Yard Visitor Center. Several parks in the area have free admission, so an Every Kid Outdoors pass is not necessary.
