Serpentine Hot Springs is a popular destination in the Preserve. The surrounding hills are topped by interesting rock formations known as Tors.

The Administrative Offices and Interpretive Center are open year round. Closed on all Federal Holidays. Open hours are from 8:00 - 4:30.

Bering Land Bridge National Preserve
The Preserve is open year-round. Highest visitation is in June and July; lowest in December, January and February. Serpentine Hot Springs is the most popular site in the park. Space at the Bunkhouse is first-come, first-served.

Did You Know?
A lightning strike ignites a fire in the preserve. The fire burns for a week and then rain puts it out. In about 7 years, a visitor could walk on the burned site having no idea there once was a fire under his or her feet. This speedy site re-vegetation is typical of tundra fire adapted ecosystems.
