Education rangers can provide curriculum-based programs in classrooms in the Nome School District and Bering Strait School District.

Classroom programs cover a variety of topics for kindergarten through high school and generally run for an estimated 45-60 minutes. Programs can be modified for time, class size, and topic.

For Nome School District

To request a program, please email us at bela_information@nps.gov.

For Bering Strait School District

To request a visit to your school, please email us at bela_information@nps.gov. Education rangers in teams of 1-2 will visit a school for a week and provide in-classroom programs. A list of available programs and times will be sent to teachers to sign up for a program. Transportation to the school and lodging are arranged ahead of time and covered by Bering Land Bridge National Preserve. Program availability is subject to staffing and travel costs.
