Tumacácori: María Jesús, her parents are from Guevavi. On the 10th day of April of this present year of 1773, I, the undersigned minister, solemnly baptized a baby girl born two weeks previously. She was born in the village of Guevavi and I gave her the name María Jesús. She is the legitimate daughter of Pedro and Xaviera, Pima Indians. Her godparents were Miguel María and María, his wife, whom I informed of the spiritual parentage and other obligation they had contracted. And, in certification of which I signed. = Fray Gaspar Clemente (rubric)
