Notes: She and her husband were "todavĂa gentiles" and "recien agregados a Guevavi" at the time of their daughter, Lucia's baptism on 25 Mar 1751 (event #2488). When their son, Lorenzo, was baptized exactly one month later (event #2808), they were still considered "gentiles." They were married on 31 May 1751, but only she was baptized at that time. She was considered "sufficiently instructed" for baptism but evidently he was not. She was 35 years old or more at the time. It was at that time she was given the Christian name "Isabel." It is interesting to note that she is listed as the mother at her two children's baptisms simply as "Tuhia," which means "girl" or "maiden" in the Pima language, but he is listed as Juan Antonio Tonnoruucam on all three records.
