Description of Golf Course

"The back opens with what rates as the scariest shot in Beltway golf - a drive on the par five 538-yard No.10 that has to clear a broad chunk of Kingman Lake before even reaching the fairway" - Washington Golf Monthly

Langston's front nine stays close to the clubhouse with a memorable trip up the third fairway to the Joe Louis Tree. Score well on the front because the back nine will test you. Winding around Kingman Lake, the recently reopened back nine features rolling hills and unnerving tee shots.

The golf course is open year-round from dawn to dusk and our loyal patrons have been known to sweep snow off of the greens themselves just to finish a round. Pull and power carts are available, as are rental sets. Langston's close proximity to Downtown DC makes it a perfect spot for a corporate outing. Full shotgun starts are available. Call General Manager James Garvin for more information.

A popular 6,300-yard, par-72 course. Stay on the fairway or be prepared to drop. The rough is tall enough to swallow golf balls and short caddies. Weekday rates are $15 for 18, $9 for 9. Weekends are $19 and $12.25. 26th Street and Benning Road NE (202) 397-8638.
