Accountant

This professional position has a positive education requirement. An Accountant provides professional-level accounting services for a work unit.


Accounting Technician

This support provides technical assistance in accounting procedures and payments


Administrative Clerk/Technician

This support position provides administrative assistance (generally to the Chief of Administration) in the major areas of budget, personnel, procurement, and property management.


Administrative Officer

The Chief of Administration is the primary person responsible for the planning, development, implementation, and execution of all phases of administration such as budget/fiscal programs, personnel management, procurement/contract administration, information resources management and property management.


Budget Analyst

This specialist formulates, monitors, and analyzes a budget for a work unit.


Budget Clerk/Assistant

This support position provides technical assistance in the formulation and tracking of budgets.


Clerk-Typist

This clerical position provides typing, filing, mail processing, and receptionist support for a work unit. The Clerk-Typist must produce correspondence in final format following established guidelines.


Contracting Specialist

A Contracting Specialist negotiates procurement actions and routine and complex contracts.


Employee Relations Specialist

This specialist provides advice and counsel to both employees and management on a variety of employee relations and/or benefit issues.


Fee Collection (Cash Management Clerk)

This position is responsible for collecting entrance fees from park visitors, selling permits (such as backcountry camping), and selling passports.


Financial Clerk/Assistant

This position provides support and technical assistance in budget formulation, account maintenance, and accounting procedures.


General Supply Specialist

This position is involved in the general management of property, motor vehicle (fleet), government quarters, and space.


Labor Relations Specialist

This specialist administers serves primarily to provide advice and counsel to management on all labor relations issues.


Mail and Files Clerk

This office support position provides all services related to incoming/outgoing mail operations, maintaining files and records in accordance with agency regulations and National Archives Records Center.


Management Clerk/Assistant

Office Automation Clerk/Assistant

An Office Automation Clerk/Assistant is required to utilize various automation hardware and software systems and applications. Personnel Officer

This management-level position provides for the planning, direction, and execution of a comprehensive personnel program by providing experts guidance in the theories, principles, and concepts of personnel management.


Position Classification Specialist

The specialist works primarily with research, analysis, and application of published classification standards in determining proper title, series, and grades of all types of positions.


Procurement Clerk/Assistant

A Procurement Clerk/Assistant provides clerical and technical support for a contracting and procurement operation.


Purchasing Agent

A purchasing Agent handles small purchases ranging from locally available standard supplies and services to complex transactions involving technical services or supplies.


Secretary

A Secretary is the primary typing, filing, mail processing, and receptionist support for a work unit. This position is responsible for complete office management operations such as flow of correspondence, maintenance of calendars, filing systems, and serving as a confidential assistant.


Staff Specialist

This specialist administers a staffing, placement, and recruitment program for a work unit.


Supply Clerk/Technician

A Supply Clerk/Technician (often titled Property Clerk) provides support to a Property Management Officer.
