Going-to-the-Sun Road Plowing Information

Plowing Activity for 2014

Present Locations
West Lakes Road Crew
On Wednesday, April 16th, the West Lake Road Crew cleared the “54 slide path #3”, which was full of woody debris, 8 feet deep, and 100 yards long. They were also able to rotary to the Logan Pit toilets. Snow depth was 4 feet deep on the level. Weather was a mix of rain and snow.

Hudson Bay Road Crew
On Wednesday, April 16th, the Hudson Bay Road Crew plowed around the Many Glacier Hotel. Drifts were about 12 feet deep. They were able to make it around the hotel and into the upper parking lot. Weather was a mix of sunshine and snow.

West Lakes Road Crew
On Thursday, April 17th, the West Lake Road crew will continue working past the Logan Pit toilets.

Hudson Bay Road Crew
On Thursday, April 17th , the Hudson Bay Road Crew will finish up work on the Many Glacier Road.
