Many people wish to make donations to Andersonville National Historic Site for a variety of reasons besides their love of the park.

If you wish to help Andersonville National Historic Site with projects and operations, there are a few ways to help us out. For more information on direct donations and how they help Andersonville National Historic Site, please contact Superintendent Brad Bennett at 229-924-0343 ext 105.

You may also make a donation through the Friends of Andersonville, a tax-exempt, non-profit corporation that helps support intereptation, education and preservation issues at the historic prison site, the National Cemetery, and the National POW Museum.

Anyone wishing to donate to the Andersonville Trust can do so. Please mail your tax deductible gift, made payable to Andersonville Trust, to:

Sack of Cement Cross on exhibit in the National POW Museum  

Did You Know?
The largest artifact in the National Prisoner of War Museum is the “Sack of Cement Cross” from Camp O’Donnell in the Philippines. The total height of the cross is 8 ft. The cross was built as a memorial to American prisoners who perished in the camp.
