Tours of Alibates are free! We do require reservations because of limited or seasonal staff. Did You Know?
Lake Meredith is named for A.A. Meredith, who championed the Canadian River Dam project. Over his lifetime, Meredith served with the WPA, was city manager of Borger, and was secretary of the Canadian River Municipal Water Authority.
